DThe TE-S Series was designed for severe every-day applications in professional ceramic workshops as economically interesting alternative to chamber kilns. The solid as well as flexible construction allows regular works in the stoneware-area up to 1320°C. The heating spirals are embedded in grooves in all round toploaders. The heating from all sides guarantees a precise temperature uniformity. A low surface stress of the KANTHAL heating spirals leads to little strain and long-life endurance. The extremely rugged wall-structure (110mm) is remarkable in all Rohde toploaders. It guarantees a low power demand and short burning times. A further remarkable feature of all Rohde toploaders is the kiln lid which is made without mortar which almost completely excludes drop-downs from above on the pieces in the kiln. Another special feature is the carefully processed kiln lid which is particularly easy and wide to open and supported by pressure springs. Thus, loading the kiln is made easy.

DThe bigger toploaders are easy to transport (lid, body and base can be transported separately) and can be enlarged at a later point in time (simple insertion of a so-called supplementary ring). As regards technology and safety all Rohde kilns answer to the latest standards.
